Fremont, Calif. – November 14, 2011 – TELADATA, a leading IT consulting firm specializing in IT infrastructure design, planning and project management, today announced that Pascal Finette of Mozilla will deliver the keynote for its 2012 Technology Convergence Conference (TCC), which will take place on February 2, 2012 in Santa Clara, California.

The conference keynote, titled Innovate in the Open!, will discuss how a transparent, participatory and collaborative approach to developing Internet-related technologies can accelerate innovation, increase quality, reduce development costs and foster early adoption. The keynote will also facilitate discussion of the public-policy framework surrounding open-source development and how it might be improved.
Pascal Finette is the Director of Mozilla’s Web Forward Program (WebFWD), which provides a workshop environment where bold ideas can be realized and bare-bones prototypes can develop rapidly into shipping products.

“TCC is one of the rare occasions to participate in an event that is truly about the user,” said Pascal Finette. “Converging technologies are what have driven my whole career – from the early days of dial-up to today’s multi-screen post-PC and I look forward to sharing my insight with the audience.”

“We are excited to have a technology pioneer and visionary like Pascal keynote February’s conference,” said Maricel Cerruti, Director of Business Development at TELADATA and Chair of the TCC.  “I know that the attendees will walk away with a snapshot of where converging technologies will be in the future.”
