Fremont, Calif. – January 18, 2012 – TELADATA, a leading consulting firm specializing in IT infrastructure design, planning and project management, today announced that its 2012 Technology Convergence Conference will feature majority end-user presentations as a part of its continuing discussions on industry trends and strategies.

The conference will offer four tracks highlighting topics on converging technologies, data center topics, monitoring, as well as collaboration and planning. Pascal Finette, Director of Mozilla’s Web Forward Program (WebFWD), will keynote the conference (in a presentation titled Innovate in the Open!)  while the smaller breakout sessions will provide more in depth peer discussions.

Michael Bangs, Director of Global Facilities at Adobe and Jeff Suellentrop, Director of Enterprise Architecture at PETCO, will participate on the Trends & Converging Technologies track focusing on convergence of consumer enterprise IT and facilities technologies.

Participants on the track also include speakers from leading firms Brocade Communications, HP, UCSF and Cisco Systems.

The IT, Facilities & Data Center Topics track will allow attendees to share insights on data center design, management, security and virtualization. Participants from Sybase, MGI Research, Facebook and Lockheed Martin will highlight approaches in integration of IT and facilities management.

The event will also resume its highly popular monitoring track titled Facilities, Operations & Monitoring Case Studies which will highlight current trends in data center and facilities operations while providing strategies in energy management objectives.

Jerry Green, Solutions Design Manager at Cisco, will deliver a presentation on the latest developments and deployments of PDU programs (titled A Deeper Insight into the Understanding of Smart PDU) which will facilitate discussions on challenges in operations and benefits of adoption.

A final track titled Collaboration, Strategy & Planning will feature panels and end-user case studies on operations, management, and strategic planning. Participants include Lawrence Berkeley National Labs (LBNL), USPS, and Silicon Valley Power.
